The purpose of Piggy Bank is to inspire our food community to duplicate, mimic, flourish and thrive. We want to share our harvest, to build a world of open access, sharing and building. Over the course of the next five years, our goal is to build a farm, have 10 species of heritage breed pigs living side by side in great animal health. The team behind Piggy Bank faces the same threat of all independent farmers, disease. There is no easy way to breach the threat of disease, but let me say, it's not in the favor of small farms trying to raise pigs into safe food.
